MS Employment Support Service

MSWA's Employment Support service is specifically tailored to people living with multiple sclerosis in Western Australia. We can help you succeed at work, whether that is staying in your current job or finding new employment.

Our team of experienced employment consultants and allied health professionals will meet with you individually to assess and support you.

Supports provided may include:

  • Finding strategies to better manage your symptoms
  • Utilising technology or equipment to enable you to function more effectively in the workplace
  • Providing assistance to write a resume and practice interviews
  • Providing education to your employer

We can help you every step of the way until you feel secure in your current job or have found new employment.

The MSWA Difference

Our employment support consultants understand multiple sclerosis, and it is this experience that makes our service so unique. We understand that some symptoms seem invisible to others, but can make working difficult, so we have a number of strategies for coping with these impacts.

Ultimately we aim to empower you to take control of your working life and we have helped many people living with multiple sclerosis to either stay in their current job or to find new employment.

We can also help you find out more about superannuation insurance and other legal rights you have as an employee, as well as refer you into other MSWA services and supports.
