Living at home may no longer be a safe or practical option for those living with a neurological condition. If you, or a loved one, reaches a stage where home-based care is no longer an option, you may wish to consider one of MSWA’s high-support accommodation facilities.
Our high-support accommodation facilities are more like home, located in suburban surroundings and integrated with the local communities.
Each site has a small number of individual self-contained units offering privacy, as well as a shared communal area, providing for social interaction with fellow residents, visitors and staff.
Each residence is staffed by a manager (often a qualified nurse), an assistant coordinator, and MSWA trained care support workers who provide 24-hour onsite care for our residents.
An MSWA high-support accommodation facility offers an age appropriate option for younger people who would otherwise be at risk of entering aged-care facilities, due to their high care needs.
Residents must be in receipt of individual funding for supported accommodation, through the Department of Communities - Disability Services or the NDIS and meet other eligibility criteria.
Rent charges, and other living expenses apply.
We currently have five high-support accommodation facilities, on four sites, in WA, with 42 individual places in the metropolitan area and Australind.
They are located at:
245 Butler Boulevard
