High support accommodation
Our high support accommodation facilities provide permanent accommodation options for people with MS and other neurological conditions, who can no longer stay in their own homes.
They offer an age appropriate option for younger people who would otherwise be at risk of entering aged care facilities, due to their high care needs.
Residents have an accessible homely unit which they can call their own. The onsite care and support gives residents access to the community and allows them to lead a fulfilling and independent life.
Each facility has a manager (often a qualified nurse), an assistant coordinator, and trained care support workers who provide 24 hour onsite care for the residents.
We currently have three high support accommodation facilities in WA, with 32 residential places, and plans in place for more in the near future
Residents must be in receipt of individual funding through the Disability Services Commission or the NDIS, and meet other eligibility criteria.
