The MSWA Counselling service provides you with the opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe, non-judgmental space.
Counselling can help you adjust to life changes, including receiving your diagnosis, and to make decisions that are best for you and those close to you.
Speaking with a counsellor can prompt you to discover and develop new ways of engaging in life; which can help you move closer to your goals.
Meeting with an MSWA Counsellor gives you the opportunity to explore your concerns in a safe, confidential environment. The role of the counsellor is to enable you to freely express your thoughts, feelings and experiences, and to identify the issues at hand. Counselling will help you explore alternative ways to manage those concerns, and find solutions that match your value system.
We can see you by appointment in one of our metropolitan offices, or if this is difficult for you we offer telephone and Skype counselling. Some home visits can be arranged for Members and Clients at our discretion.
The Counselling service generally operates during normal business hours.
