MSWA is proud to continue working with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra (WASO) as the inaugural ‘Supporting Music and Wellbeing’ Partner this year.
We believe in the power of music as medicine for the mind and partnering with WASO will help us bring this to life and make music more accessible to a larger audience.
MSWA CEO Marcus Stafford AM said he was delighted to partner with WASO for the 2020 season.
“We know that music has therapeutic benefits for the brain and can be especially powerful for those living with a neurological condition,” Mr Stafford said.
“Last year through our partnership we were able to make music more accessible to a younger audience and this year we look forward to bringing more music to more Western Australians.”
The partnership between WASO and MSWA recognises a shared commitment to enriching the lives of people through music; creating unique events and better points of access to reach new audiences.
MSWA will proudly present the orchestra’s 2020 Masters Series starting in March.
Keep an eye on our website and social media channels as more information will become available throughout the year as the partnership grows.
