MSWA to invest a record $3.5m into research

28 June 2019

MSWA will set a new benchmark this year with a record $3.5 million going towards scientific research. The funding will be fully allocated in the 2018-19 tax year and will go to a variety of local and international projects to research causes, treatments and cures for all neurological conditions.

MSWA CEO Marcus Stafford AM said he was extremely proud that the organisation is Australia’s largest contributor to research of this kind.

“We believe that through scientific research we will one day find a cure for many neurological conditions, which is why we invest such a growing amount of money,” said Mr Stafford.

“Last year’s funding saw a range of scientific research projects undertaken. That depth and scope, with resultant findings, inspires us to do more and more in the critical area of research.”
