Respite is built to meet the needs of people living with neurological conditions, including those with high-care needs. Respite is a ‘home away-from-home’, comfortably appointed with on-site 24/7 care and support and home-cooked meals.
All MSWA Clients and their carer's are able to enquire when they're in need of a short-term break from normal living arrangements.
Funding to cover your stay may be available.
What are the benefits of respite?
MSWA’s Residential Respite provides short-term accommodation with 24/7 care for people living with neurological conditions. Our Treendale Gardens Respite home offers professional care in a purpose-built facility, access to nursing staff, allied health professionals and tailored morning and afternoon activities.

Can a carer submit an expression of interest?
Yes, carers can apply for this Respite Offer, all Clients will undergo the same eligibility assessment.
Can I still express my interest if I'm not a MSWA Client?
Yes, we encourage you to submit your expression of interest!
We will undergo an onboarding process, given all eligibility criteria is met.
What are the Terms and Conditions of this offer?
- This offer is available for bookings at MSWA City Beach Respite.
- This promotion is subject to availability of rooms/bed per residence.
- This promotion is subject to the availability of MSWA’s Department of Community funding.
- This promotion ends 31 March 2026. All respite stays including the bonus stays must be complete before this date.
Do I need to use my funding?
