Our stories

Life not limits

At MSWA, we are privileged to support thousands of West Aussies living with neurological conditions. Our community generously share their stories to inspire others and shine a light on what it is like to live with a neurological condition or know someone who does.

Whilst their journeys involve challenges, it is through determination, humour and support that they are living meaningful and positive lives.

Holly Taylor

For trailblazer Holly Taylor, MSWA was an invaluable support to ensure she can still run marathons after diagnosed with MS in 2022.

Hayley Long

Hayley began experiencing MS symptoms as young as 16, but only received an official diagnosis at 26-years-old, following a significant relapse.

Hank Gidney

Hank found the MSWA Counselling team's meditation and mindfulness practices helped quiet his MS symptoms, allowing his inner inquisitive creative to rise above the 'MS noise'.
