For Trailblazer, Holly, the first thing she asked her neurologist after her multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis was, “can I still climb a mountain?”

Never out of the running, she’s continued to push boundaries and her limits – running ultramarathons, pursuing her career goals as a horse trainer and still, climbing mountains.

Chris’ story

Chasing my podium finish

Thrill Seeker, Chris woke up one morning and couldn’t walk. Overnight, his life turned upside down, later diagnosed as the rare Guillain-Barré Syndrome.

Through sheer grit and determination, Chris went from the hospital bed to bringing home two medals at the Ambilympics. A journey that spanned over seven years, made possible with the support of MSWA and the mindset that giving up was never an option.

For Inquisitive Creative, Hank, his multiple sclerosis (MS) hasn’t stopped him from doing what he loves – conceptualising and creating artwork that portrays the emotions and sensations he experiences daily. With the support of MSWA, Hank continues his creative career, documenting his MS journey one brushstroke at a time.
