Client Committee

The overall aim of our Client Committee is to enhance the Client and community experience with MSWA.

In addition to advocating on the community’s behalf, the Committee is a mechanism to ensure Client and community representatives are involved in the design and improvement of services, communications and initiatives across the spectrum of MSWA activity, to ensure genuine user-centric outcomes.

How does the MSWA codesign process work?

The Committee oversees the codesign process at MSWA, meeting quarterly to table projects, clarify their scope, identify key stakeholders for working groups and provide updates on progress and outcomes.

Between these meetings, working groups are formed to actively work through and progress individual projects alongside subject matter experts, to ensure agility, efficiency and broader input. This is a hands-on way to get involved in projects relevant to you, without a long-term commitment.

What kind of projects are involved?

Projects involve improvements or changes in the delivery of services, the development of new initiatives and communication improvement opportunities.

Who can get involved?

All members of our neurological community are invited to participate; whether you are a Client receiving services, someone in our community with lived experience, or a carer of a loved one. Your experience and input helps ensure the development and implementation of more effective and user-friendly solutions based on your needs and priorities.

Having a diverse range of perspectives is really important to ensure we accurately represent our broad neuro community. We will actively seek representation from people of different diagnoses, cultural backgrounds, language groups, community roles and sexual orientations, across the generations where possible.
