Community Fundraisers

A sweet reason to fundraise

In October, Baptist College students, Chloe and Hanna conducted a Bake Sale fundraiser to support MSWA.

As part of Baptist College’s Rite Journey Program, the baking duo chose to run a fundraiser for their project, contacting the MSWA Events Team and then securing the Rockingham Bowling Club as their venue. The cause was close to their hearts as they have family members that are diagnosed with MS.

Visitors to the Club were treated to a table brimming with delectable offerings, ranging from cakes to biscuits and scones.

There was also a chance to win one of two raffle prizes, both overflowing with yummy treats!

Their dedication and enthusiasm is truly commendable, making the bake sale a memorable success. The two raised $1200 for MSWA, which helps us continue to support West Aussies with neurological conditions.

IGA's generous support

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to The Good Grocer Canning Bridge IGA for their longstanding support of MSWA and our initiatives. They’ve generously provided fruits to our dedicated fundraisers during various MSWA Events and have continuously supported MSWA with coin containers on their counters for many years. A special thank you to the team, as well as the countless shoppers who pass through their doors and have made a donation – small or big – to our cause.

“If you look after the pennies, the pounds will look after themselves.”

What may seem like a small gesture truly adds up and makes a significant impact.
