Charge Up!

With 18 facilities across metro and regional WA, MSWA has an increasingly large footprint which will continue to expand, subsequently requiring more travel by staff in the future.

As environment sustainability is a key focus, MSWA is gradually converting a portion of the fleet to electric vehicles. To do so, there was an increased requirement of sufficient charging equipment fitted at each of our sites.

Facility Manager, Brendon Capriotti was pleased to learn his applications were successful and the case study would help other organisations learn of the grants.

Excitingly, MSWA successfully applied in Round 1 and 2 of ‘Charge Up’, an Electric Vehicle Charging Grant through the State Government.

Thanks to the grant, we have already installed a 22kW AC dual-port charger at five MSWA locations, with plans for additional installations in the future.
