Parenting & MS

As a parent we generally want to protect our children from hardship. Being a parent with MS can be fraught with guilt and exhaustion.

Fatigue and cognitive issues can affect the way you parent and how you respond to the stressors of parenting.

You may also experience immense sadness if your illness has meant you can’t enjoy activities you used to enjoy with your kids.

It doesn’t have to be a terrible experience.

Contacting MSWA Counselling can enable you to explore your feelings and create new ways of being the parent you aspire to be. It may mean a change in how you see yourself. Please contact us on 9365 4811.
