MSWA Community and Health Services Centre, Bunbury

29 March 2017

MSWA are proud to announce that the builders of our new Community and Health Services Centre in Bunbury, Farnell Constructions, have won the 2017 Building Excellence Awards for Commercial Industrial Buildings Under $2,000,000. Farnell Constructions have also been listed as a finalist in the ‘Best Overall Project - Commercial’ category, as well as Peter Farnell winning ‘Supervisor of the Year – Commercial’ for construction excellence.

The new $1.5 million MSWA Centre opened its doors in December 2016, providing a much-needed upgrade for providing supports and services to those living with multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions in the South West region. The accessible Centre boasts a physiotherapy gym with specialised equipment, massage rooms, separate consulting rooms dedicated to counselling, nursing and allied health teams and a large meeting area for Day Centre and activity purposes, while increased parking makes accessing the facility easy for everyone.

MSWA would like to congratulate Farnell Constructions for their achievements in building the Community and Health Services Centre in Bunbury and also thank them for their assistance in making this Centre and the services it provides to the Members, plus their family and carers, become a reality.
