New research set to improve outcomes for people living with Alzheimer’s disease

MSWA is delighted to announce the funding of a new pilot clinical trial of a drug that aims to prevent further memory loss in people living with Alzheimer’s disease.

$150,000 has been invested to a research team lead by Prof John Mamo from the Curtin Health Innovation Research Institute (CHIRI) based at Curtin University and will support one of the Institute’s goals to developing new treatments to help improve the outcomes for people living with neurological diseases, such as Alzheimer’s.
