MS Readathon

MS Readathon landing page

The MS Readathon inspires kids to read as much as they can, all for an incredible cause. The rules are simple. Read whatever you like, as much as you can throughout the month of August.

This year’s MS Readathon was a magical quest, and although the adventure has wrapped up, books can still be read, and much needed funds can still be raised for people and their families living with a neurological condition in WA.

Funds raised will help children whose parents are living with a neurological condition to attend family camps and fun days in WA.

This year’s results are in!

  • We had 1901 people registered in WA and over 21,000 nationwide

Scott's story

Scotty Cocivera is among many children who participated in this year’s Readathon. His inspiration was his mum, Yvette Cocivera who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2006. When the time was right, Yvette used a children's comic book provided by MSWA to help explain how the condition would affect her life and help Scotty understand. He is very excited to be able to attend a family camp or fun day this year.
