LED upgrade lighting for Wilson facility

28 August 2014

The MS Society is proud to announce the upgrade of its Wilson facility with energy efficient lighting technology. This activity received funding from the Australian Government and encapsulates the installation of 376 new LED lights throughout the facility.

The installation of these lights is expected to reduce the energy consumption of the site by 157 units per day, which is approximately the same energy that 8 residential houses use.

The LED lighting technology used for this project is readily available to the general public and is effective at reducing the electricity consumption of households.

Should anyone wish to view this technology in operation, tours of the Wilson facility are available at request.”
