Workplace giving, also known as corporate giving, is growing in popularity because it allows you to set up a regular donation through your company which is deducted from your pay, before tax. For instance, by giving $10 a month you will pay only $6.80. This means at the end of the financial year - there are no receipts to find to claim your deduction, it is all done for you. Find out if your company is setup for workplace giving by speaking to your human resources or accounts team.
Many companies take their Corporate Social Responsibility very seriously and have introduced matched giving programs. For every $1 donated by an employee they will match it, meaning MSWA receives $2. Some companies even give $3 for every $1 donated from their employees, so ask today to see if your company has a program.
In a combined effort, INPEX and Floatel’s Group Ichthys donated $5,000 to MSWA earlier this year for recycling plastic bottles used on their semi-submersible accommodation vessels.

MSWA run events are supplemented by the support of various corporations.
