World MS Day Art Exhibition Perth

Are you a passionate artist, a creative spirit, or simply eager to get involved?

World MS Day is celebrated on May 30 and this year, we want to shine a spotlight on you - our incredible Clients - and the many diverse and creative ways you produce art.

This year’s theme, My MS Diagnosis, provides a great opportunity for you to submit a piece of artwork surrounding your ‘Expression of Self.’ We embrace all forms of self-expression beyond traditional art, inviting you to share your stories with the WA community. By doing so, you’ll spark conversations, create connections, and, of course, have the opportunity to showcase your talents!

We’re also excited to announce that we will once again be hosting an art exhibition showcasing all the submitted artwork! The event will be held at Central Park Tower in Perth and, for the first time, we’re also expanding to Bunbury’s Stirling Street Art Centre. We will provide further details on how you can attend at a later date.

To get involved, submit the artwork you've created at home or in Outreach!

Submit your art!

We encourage you to submit any art you have produced at home and if you are an Outreach Client, our Outreach teams will always encourage and support your creative pursuits, just ask!

If you would like to submit a piece of art, please fill out the form below for consideration. If your piece is selected, we will be in touch to discuss how MSWA staff can collect the piece in time for the exhibition.

  • Submissions must be in by 5pm Monday, 5 May.
  • All submissions are welcome from members of our neurological community, whether you have lived experience or care for a loved one who has.
  • Submissions to the Perth exhibition must be a 2D artwork with the ability to be hung. Unfortunately, 3D works such as sculpture cannot be presented due to location constraints, but items such as quilts or crocheted pieces which can be hung can be accepted. However, 3D work is accepted for the Bunbury exhibition.
  • The form below must be completed to be considered by our selection panel.
  • You will be notified if successful prior to the exhibition opening, at which time pick up will be arranged.
  • Exhibition details will be released in the coming weeks.

Remember, we welcome all styles of art and accept anything you deem as an ‘Expression of Self’!

If you have any questions surrounding the event, artwork or any of the workshops, please reach out to [email protected] - we'd love to hear from you!
