Women’s health: Exercise, pregnancy & menopause

Women’s health: Exercise, pregnancy & menopause

Join our 6-week education series focused on health, exercise, and symptom management for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS). Each Thursday from 5-6pm, MSWA Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists will present practical strategies to help you move better and feel stronger.

This presentation focuses on the unique challenges and opportunities women face when managing neurological conditions throughout key life stages such as pregnancy and menopause. We’ll discuss how neurological conditions can affect physical health during these times, the benefits and adaptations of exercise tailored to individual needs, and strategies to safely support wellness and function. By understanding these connections, women can make informed choices to optimize their health, manage symptoms, and improve quality of life during pregnancy, through menopause, and beyond.

This session will be hosted by MSWA Senior Physiotherapist, Marga Ruiz Martinez.
