The principles of exercise in MS: What to do, what to avoid, how do I get started?

Join our 6-week education series focused on health, exercise, and symptom management for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS). Each Thursday from 5-6pm, MSWA Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists will present practical strategies to help you move better and feel stronger.

Exercise is clinically proven to be one of the best management strategies for individuals living with MS. This presentation will introduce the key principles of exercise specifically for individuals with MS. We’ll cover what types of exercise are beneficial, what to avoid to prevent setbacks, and practical steps to help you get started safely. The goal is to empower you with knowledge to build an effective, enjoyable exercise routine that supports your health, mobility, and overall well-being.

This session will be hosted by MSWA Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Jamie Hardy.
