Exercise progressions: The importance of lifting heavy weights with MS

Exercise progressions: The importance of lifting heavy weights with MS

Join our 6-week education series focused on health, exercise, and symptom management for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS). Each Thursday from 5-6pm, MSWA Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists will present practical strategies to help you move better and feel stronger.

Exercise is considered an effective tool in the management of MS, improving strength, coordination, and prolonging functional capacity. Progressive loading of exercise can improve neuroplasticity, muscle firing capacity, fatigue, and reduce long-term disability. Please join us to find out more about how this can help you!

This session will be hosted by MSWA Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Jorgio Khayrallah.

Please contact Jorgio at [email protected] or 0419 847 897, to register your interest.
