Non-MS Programmes
The MS Society of WA is increasingly supporting adults living with other neurological conditions that result in similar care needs.
Eligibility criteria and access to a service depends on relative need and availability of that service.
Our non MS programs and supports include:
- Margaret Doody Respite House providing out of home respite; subject to an assessment and availability. Ring the Manager on 9385 9574 or contact us for more information;
- The Flexible Respite Program for short term support in respite for carers looking after loved ones with a disability due to a neurological condition and experiencing fluctuating care needs;
- Neurodegenerative Conditions Coordinated Care Program a DSC funded pilot program;
- Attendance at an Outreach Group for recreational and socialisation benefits where eligibility is determined and resources are available.
Registration as a non-MS client is essential. Eligibility and an assessment of needs is conducted to ensure we can safely meet individual care needs.
