A google search of “multiple sclerosis” will give you over 11 million hits; definitely overwhelming and also varying in quality and accuracy! MS is quite an individual disease and affects people in many different ways. It’s important to remember that not all you read or hear about MS will be relevant for you.
We can help you source accurate and relevant information and link you with quality web sites. If you need any information or have any questions you can contact us and we will get back to you. If we aren’t sure we will contact the experts!
MS has changed significantly over the years; earlier diagnosis and access to a range of treatments is leading to better outcomes overall.
MSWA staff are here to support you, and your family, from the time of diagnosis; our health team staff specialise in MS and we provide a range of supports and services for our Members. We encourage you to learn more about MS and how it can affect you. Our staff can chat with you one on one about MS, or you could attend one of the quarterly newly diagnosed seminars. They have a wide range of resources and articles on various aspects of MS that they can share; just ask – you can ring 9365 4888 or contact us through the web page.
This includes; nursing, facilities, therapy and much more.
