Supported Accomodation
Fern River is a group of six units which is staffed by a Coordinator and care support workers who provide permanent care to the residents. The six units have three bedrooms and there are 10 residents on site.
Fern River is an accommodation option for those people with multiple sclerosis who can no longer manage in their own homes in the community and who would otherwise move into a nursing home.
Funding for care is through the Disability Services Commission and there are eligibility criteria.
