Massage

Massage is the systematic and scientific manipulation of the soft tissues of the body. For people with multiple sclerosis, massage activates the immune system, assists the venous flow of blood and encourages the lymphatic flow. It also stimulates the sensory receptors in the skin and stimulates the endorphin production reducing pain. Massage also promotes a feeling of well being.

The Society subsidises this service to make it affordable for financial Members.

Massage is colocated with the Outreach Groups held in the metro area, Bunbury and Albany.
